Little Splendours
Our dedicated kids’ area is back for another year! We’ve got a whole host of delights in store, including arts and crafts, a dress up photo booth, family theatre show ‘Are We Nearly There Yet?’ and much, much more!
Nottingham based Theatre Company HandMade are specialists in interactive family theatre experiences. Making artwork primarily for families, taking inspiration from their surroundings and creating immersive environments that can transform both outside and inside venues. We can’t wait to welcome the company back for the second time this summer! They’ll be hosting a very special family theatre show called Are We Nearly There Yet? Travel back in time, come face to face with creatures of the deep, race planes across the skies. Packed with fun and action, this show is for all ages and will take you on a breath-taking journey, so pack your suitcases and grab your map because you’re going on an adventure!
Dynamique Dance
Dynamique Dance & Parties will be entertaining the little ones and adding a sparkle to the VIP area this year with free glitter to all aged 3+ at their glitter bar stand. Plus there will be a tent with lawn games, bubbles, hula-hoops, pom poms and other props and games available to use and play with throughout the day. This area will be manned and the entertainers will be on hand to help the children learn new hula hoop tricks or do some informal dancing and cheering. Dancing is proven to increase confidence, help children to socialise with others and is a great way to get them grooving- and all in the setting where mum and dad can relax and enjoy the festival too.
