Vicky McClure and Our Dementia Choir bring one of the festival’s most uplifting and inspiring performances to Splendour. Founded by acclaimed actor and Nottingham native Vicky McClure following her BAFTA-winning documentary Our Dementia Choir with Vicky McClure, the choir celebrates the transformative power of music for people living with dementia.

Made up of members from across the East Midlands, Our Dementia Choir has become a powerful symbol of community, connection, and resilience. Through unforgettable performances, the choir shines a light on the positive impact that singing can have on confidence, wellbeing, and quality of life, while helping to challenge perceptions of dementia.
