The Clause are a four‑piece indie rock band from Birmingham, England, formed in 2015 by school friends Pearce Macca (vocals/guitar), Jonny Fyffe (bass), Niall Fennell (drums) and Liam Deakin (guitar). They blend ‘60s swagger, ‘80s groove and ‘90s attitude into energetic, hook‑driven rock with gritty verses and big singalong choruses. The band built a devoted following through relentless touring, sold‑out UK headline shows and support slots with acts like The Reytons and Pigeon Detectives. In October 2025 they released their debut album Victim of a Casual Thing, reaching No. 1 on the UK Independent Albums Chart and breaking into the UK Top 20.
